Unitec's entry systems are certified to interface to 17+ POS register companies and our entire product line complies with the UL1950 safety standard, as tested and approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. Having UL 1950 certification is essential to ensure approval by county and municipal electrical inspectors at the time of installation. Equipment meeting UL1950 specifications has undergone stringent safety tests to ascertain that product design and manufacturing specifications protect owners and users from electrical shock, energy hazards, fire, mechanical and heat hazards and that there is no chemical or radiation threat. All Unitec entry systems are, before delivery, individually tested and checked to verify certification standards are met.
