Remote EXT POS Connection is released!

The remote EXTPOS connection is a software enhancement for Unitec’s POS 4000/V2.  This software release enables a secondary POS 4000 (connected to a Master POS 4000) to interface to an EXT POS device.  A site will have the ability to sell codes at more than one Register system (the registers may be different Baud rates, brands, or POS types), and the carwash codes will be able to be used at any bay connected to the master console. Some features and specifications include:

 

Ø      The Remote EXTPOS Connection will be sold as a software option for the Master POS 4000 console with a software upgrade required for each secondary consoles.

 

Ø      All Secondary POS 4000s must be POS 4000 Software Version 7.5 or higher and must be the same version as the Master POS 4000.

 

Ø      Up to 5 total POS 4000 consoles can be connected (1 Master + 4 Secondary)

 

Ø      Remote EXTPOS Connection is available for POS 4000-based systems at this time, including E-Systems and Wash Select II POS.
