In order to simplify the installation of Sentinels, Unitec will program these units prior to shipping them to the car wash site or distributor facility. A completed Sentinel Configuration form will be required for every order when the order is submitted by the distributor. There is no charge for this required pre-programming service.
It is important to thoroughly review the Configuration Form upon completion to ensure no errors have been made. At the time of installation, the customer is responsible for reviewing all settings to ensure they are correct. Additional tasks required at the time of setup include:
- Setup local area network (router or modem for internet connection)
- Login to maintenance mode
- Assign bay number (for multi-unit site)
- Login to management mode
- Setup physical security and users
- Verify all settings
