With all the regional and national trade shows coming up this fall, you may ask yourself if it is really worth the time and expense to attend one. The short answer is YES. If you do not attend your local or regional carwash event, it may end up costing you more in the long run.
Why? Well, that is a multi-pronged answer. Aside from discovering new products that can minimize expenses and increase revenues, there are many other considerations. Here are some reasons to consider attending the next carwash tradeshow in your area:
• You will make new contacts in the industry. Many influencers in the carwash industry are willing to share their expertise with newcomers and old-timers alike. Who doesn’t appreciate learning from their peers’ successes and pains?
• You will gain access to association tools. Carwash associations are great sources of information and services for business owners. They also advocate for business-friendly laws on the state level helping carwashes to run more effectively.
• You will gather the latest information. If you haven’t heard about the latest trends in car washing, your customers are going to pass you by for the competition. RFID? Multiple retail opportunities on site? Pet washing? You can gain first-hand insights from pioneers of these technologies as well as hands-on product demonstrations with suppliers.
• You will learn. Seminars and workshops can be priceless. Industry leaders sitting together sharing ideas, having productive discussions, and taking questions from the audience- who couldn’t benefit from that?
Unitec Electronics will be at NACS in Chicago, NRCC in Atlantic City, WCA in San Diego and the Shell US Fuels Show in Austin, TX this fall. Will we see you there? What information, knowledge or skills will you gain by attending these events or others in the industry?
